Privacy Policy

What personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Last updated: 20 October 2026

1. Who we are

This website, www.auptonix.com, is operated by Auptonix Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (“Auptonix”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in India with its office in Kanpur Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us about anything in it at info@auptonix.com.

This policy covers personal data we handle through this website and the email correspondence that follows from it. Data that clients share with us during a project is governed by the confidentiality agreement and contract for that engagement, not by this policy.

2. What we collect

Information you choose to send us

  • Project inquiries. The form on our Contact page does not store or transmit anything itself. When you press “Send Request”, it opens your own email app with a pre-filled message to business@auptonix.com. We receive only what you then choose to send: typically your name, company, work email, project type, task format, expected volume, timeline and project details.
  • Expert network applications. If you email us to join our expert network, we receive what you include, such as your CV, qualifications, areas of expertise and contact details.
  • Other emails and calls. Anything you send to our email addresses or tell us by phone.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical details of each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These are used to run and secure the site.
  • Fonts. Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers and Google receives your IP address. See Google’s privacy policy.

We do not use analytics tools, advertising trackers or marketing cookies on this website.

3. How we use it

  • To reply to your inquiry, scope your project and prepare a proposal.
  • To assess expert applications and match experts to suitable projects.
  • To run, maintain and protect this website.
  • To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not add you to marketing mailing lists without your consent.

4. Our basis for using it

When you contact us, you give the information voluntarily and for a specific purpose, and we use it for that purpose. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we rely on your consent and on the legitimate uses the Act allows, such as processing data you have voluntarily provided for the purpose you provided it. Where other laws apply to you, we rely on your consent, on steps needed to enter into or perform a contract with you, or on our legitimate interest in running our business and responding to inquiries.

5. Who we share it with

  • Service providers who host this website and our email, and who process data only on our instructions.
  • Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, where needed.
  • Authorities when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
  • A successor business if Auptonix is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, under the same protections described here.

We do not share expert applicants’ details with clients without the expert’s agreement.

6. International transfers

Our hosting and email providers may store or process data on servers outside India. Where that happens, we use providers that apply appropriate safeguards, and transfers are made only as permitted by applicable law.

7. How long we keep it

  • Inquiries that do not lead to a project: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted.
  • Client correspondence: for the length of the relationship and as long afterwards as legal, tax or contractual obligations require.
  • Expert applications: up to 24 months, so we can contact you about suitable projects, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Server logs: for the limited period our hosting provider retains them.

8. How we protect it

The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS. Access to inquiry and application emails is limited to the staff who need it, and we apply the same access controls we describe on our Trust & Security page. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected or updated;
  • have your data deleted;
  • withdraw consent you have given, at any time;
  • object to or restrict certain uses of your data;
  • nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become incapacitated, as the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 allows; and
  • complain to a data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@auptonix.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we aim to respond within 30 days.

10. Grievances

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, write to our Grievance Officer at info@auptonix.com with “Privacy grievance” in the subject line. We will acknowledge it promptly and try to resolve it within 30 days. If you are in India and are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

11. Children

This website and our services are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change is significant, we will make that clear on this page.
